Perinatal Project

Family Health Center of Marshfield, Inc. (FHC) on behalf of the HOPE Consortium was awarded a second round of Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Rural Communities Opioid Response Program –Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (RCORP-NAS) grant funding to improve integrated care and care coordination for those who were pregnant, had children, and those of childbearing age who had a history of, or who were at risk for, substance use disorder and their children, families, and caregivers. This enhancement of services that started in the North Region in 2020 will allow for continuation and expansion  in the Central and West Regions of  the HOPE Consortium service area from September 2023 through August 2026.

Project Goal: Reduce the incidence and impact of NAS in rural central, northern, and western Wisconsin through the collaborative efforts of HOPE Consortium by providing services to individuals with substance use disorder (SUD) in the target service area who are at risk of becoming pregnant, are currently pregnant, and/or have recently given birth, as well as their families.
